About Me!
I am a journalist and photojournalist who grounds my work in listening and learning from the community. I believe in the power of people-centered stories, and I enjoy finding them by striking up conversations.
I write anything, including breaking news stories and in-depth features for a range of publications. While working for the Portland Press Herald, I was affectionately dubbed the “eccentric people correspondent” because I have a special ability to find quirky people to write about. As an enthusiastic Rhode Island resident for the time being, I write about interesting pockets in the greater Providence area for the Boston Globe, Warwick Beacon, and Ocean State Stories.

I also jump at the opportunity to whip out my camera. I’ve been capturing the world around me since I was gifted a small blue digital camera for my fifth birthday. I still photograph my world, and as the 134 Photo Chief of the Brown Daily Herald, that has meant documenting the dynamic and involved campus environment.
I will wrap up my undergraduate degree in History at Brown University in May 2025, and I am eager to continue finding and telling meaningful stories.
